Durability is one of the several important factors that went into the design. We have banged an Envious Ounce on a table thousands of times literally and the Envious Ounce still lights up the next time we tap it against a surface. However, because the Envious Ounce is made of real glass, you do have to handle it with care.

Yes, a CR2032 compatible battery is required.

How often do I have to replace the battery? |
|
It depends on how often you use the Envious Ounce. A standard CR2032 compatible battery will last several thousand activations before needing a replacement. The CR2032 batteries should be available at your local grocery store.

Why wash the Envious Ounce when you can just keep filling it up? But in case you do need to wash it, you can use soap and water and wash it by hand only.
